Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PT Rancangin Aja Teknologi, the developer and operator of KosPro ("we", "us"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the KosPro mobile application ("the App"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. KosPro is a service that helps landlords and property managers manage boarding houses (kos) and rental properties in Indonesia.
By using KosPro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a. Account information
- Email address — used for registration, sign-in, and account verification.
- Name — used to personalize your account.
- Phone number — optional, used for account and support purposes.
b. Content you create in the App
- Property and unit data — names, addresses, room/unit details, and occupancy status of the properties you manage.
- Tenant data — names and contact details (such as phone numbers) of tenants that you, as the property manager, enter into the App.
- Payment records — rent amounts, due dates, payment status, and payment history that you record in the App.
Note: tenant information is entered by you, the account holder. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to record your tenants' information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to provide and improve the KosPro service:
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide the core boarding-house management features: property, unit, tenant, and payment tracking.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., account verification, password reset).
- To deliver reminders and notifications you configure (e.g., rent due-date reminders).
- To process and manage Premium subscriptions.
- To respond to your support requests.
3. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored on Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider. Data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your tenants' data to any third party. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the App (Settings → Account) or by emailing admin@rancanginaja.com from your registered email address.
- Upon a deletion request, your account and associated data are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, encrypted transport (TLS), and authenticated access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
KosPro is intended for property owners and managers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
